Compliance is where DIY importing falls over. Certification is verified upstream at the factory, against the specific SKU being shipped, before goods leave China.
Windows & Doors
Glazed external window and door assemblies must meet Australian cyclonic, structural, and water-penetration testing. We only work with factories that can supply AS2047-certified test reports against the specific product being shipped.
Structural Elements
Structural glazing, steel, and engineered components are specified against the relevant AS/NZS standards. Compliance documentation is collected at the factory, not promised at the dock.
Electrical Goods
All electrical goods imported must carry the Regulatory Compliance Mark. We verify RCM registration numbers against the ERAC database before shipment, not after arrival.
Tiles & Flooring
Wet-area and external floor surfaces must meet slip-resistance classifications. Certification is verified against the specific tile SKU and batch, generic compliance letters are not accepted.
A note on plumbing fixtures: Plumbing goods require WaterMark certification, which is tightly controlled and difficult to retrofit on imported goods. We generally steer builders toward Australian-sourced plumbing and focus direct sourcing on categories where compliance is achievable at the factory.
