What is the Chinese New Year and Why is it Special?

The Chinese New Year is a widely celebrated period in the Asian country. The date is not the same year though as it changes because it’s being operated based on the lunar calendar. The 2019 Chinese New Year begins on the 5th of February and is expected to last for 2 weeks during which festivities would be of true traditional significance.
